I consider my practice as a means to unite myself with my deepest & truest self. Yoga for me is a guide that helps navigate the path to my highest potential. I also see it as a perfect tool that can help bridge the gap between material and spiritual ways of being - which are often seen as vastly contradictory ideas. I believe that a life lived with purpose and intent often see these ideas merge.
I was exposed to the idea of change and impermanence early on in life. The acceptance of impermanence & imperfection - the Japanese idea of Wabi-Sabi (侘寂), is an ongoing journey & one that I love to learn and teach on the yoga mat.
While my personal practice includes many styles of yoga including Vinyasa, Ashtanga Vinyasa, Iyengar and Universal Yoga, I believe that all yoga is born out of Hatha.
In my classes you can expect the liberty of dynamic flows, but also the stability of long hold Hatha asanas as well as the juicy release work that Yin yoga allows us. All while keeping the breath as the center piece of the practice.

I am immensely grateful for all that yoga and my teachers have taught me and I want to bring to people the magic of this practice. I write a blog titled Samasthiti, expressing my continued journey to find a balanced stillness in my practice on and off her mat.
I am trained in Hatha and Pre Natal Yoga and I am certified Yoga Therapist.
I am based in Bangalore, India & I teach group and private classes online. Every day is different for the mind-body and so I focus on tailoring my sequence to what my students need.
Since the onset of the pandemic, I also work in enabling better well-being via chair yoga, meditation & pranayama session at corporate workplaces - onsite & virtual.
