About the Event

A 8D/7N retreat in the magnificent Leh region of Ladakh with the gorgeous Zanskar river flowing near by and spellbinding view of the golden mountains of Ladakh. 

Practice hatha, yin and yoga nidra : 90 min yoga classes twice a day with alongside friends in the yoga journey.

Excursions to near-by monasteries, picnic by the river, trek at the Ney valley, sunset meditation at Shanti-stupa and organic food with produce fresh from the orchards and gardens of Nimmu House.

Take a week to unwind in the charming rooms all designed by French designer Emeline Leveille-Nizerolle using traditional and local materials and experience the mes-merizing beauty of Ladakh and Ladakhi culture.

Location & Architecture

Situated in the village of Nimmu, Nimmu House lwas built a century ago and is located at the confluence of two sacred rivers:  Indus and Zanskar ~ providing a spellbinding view on the rushing waters of the valley and the golden mountains of Ladakh.

This eco-resort was built to preserve the glorious architecture of the region keeping sustainability in mind with all materials sourced locally. Allowing you to immerse yourself in local culture while enjoying modern comforts.

Retreat & Relax

With many nooks and corners to hang out in, Nimmu house provides you with the prefect retreat space ~ read a book, gaze at the mighty Himalayas or simple listen to the sounds of nature. The property features a stable with yaks, dzos, cows and goats, terraces and a 4,500 square meters orchard with hundreds of fruit trees (apricot, apple, walnut). 

We'll be staying in the heritage rooms, tastefully decorated as per Ladakhi tradition. Deluxe tents are available on request, at an additional cost.

Meals

You will enjoy the delightful meals prepared with fresh products sourced directly from the orchard, the garden, the cattle and local farms.
